Westracks Recognized As A Successful RTD Partnership Program
The Westracks Shuttle is receiving recognition as an innovative transportation solution that expands access to Colorado’s parks, trails, attractions, and local businesses.
A recent Mass Transit article highlighted Westracks as one of the successful projects supported through RTD's Partnership Program. The program invests in locally developed transportation solutions that improve mobility, strengthen regional connections, and help fill transportation gaps where traditional transit options may be limited.
Created through a partnership between the West Corridor Transportation Management Association (West Corridor TMA), RTD, Jefferson County, the City of Golden, the Town of Morrison, and other local partners, Westracks demonstrates how regional collaboration can create convenient transportation options that connect people to outdoor recreation, local destinations, and transit.
RTD recently announced funding for nine additional transportation pilot projects across the Denver metro area, building on the success of earlier Partnership Program investments like Westracks. The continued investment reflects the growing demand for community-driven mobility solutions that make it easier for people to get where they want to go.
